Description

Project Description:

New security capabilities for user identity authentication and authorization operations need to be designed for the requirements of Unipers IT in a Cloud and Digital Workplace environment. The IT Security unit within Uniper has an additional requirement to support the Identity Services workstream to implement the new IT Security services model. Due to the E.ON/Uniper split, new ownership within the new “Identity Service” is required from Uniper for security technologies which until now have been operating in a shared environment. The project will deliver a revised IT Security Identity Service model for Uniper and is expected to run from Jan 2020 until Q3 2020. This project will be managed by Uniper and delivered with the help of trusted outsourced partners, and will report into the overarching Data Management Security line organization within Uniper.

Planned start-/enddate: 01.04.2020 - 30.09.2020

Task Description

• Define and document IDM architecture like technical architecture documentation, modelling system and identity flow throw different it systems. The current architecture needs to be stabilized, therefore smalls changes might be required where the consultant developer should make suggestions how to optimize the current architecture to ensure it will run more stable

• Define and design enhancements to the UIDM solution - enhancements that might help uniper to run/operate the current solution more stable and with less disruptions and manual interventions, therefore the developer hasto propose design enhancement to stabilize the current run operations

• Develop enhancements in the tool itself as well as the DevOps toolchain- the internal Uniper project leads decides which enhancements will be implemented. This refers to the task that the developer should push enhancement ideas to the agile devops backlog. The consultant should add ideas to the devop backlog

• Lead and manage release deployments - it will be decided which enhancements will go into production every two weeks in an agile spring. Once decided by the internal project lead. The consultant should plan and execute the required tasks to put the enhancement from test to production environment (=mange the change to production).

• Coordinate technical tasks between functional operations, MyIdentity project and technical operations

• Analyze epics and user stories, write technical designs - the consultant presents the findings to Uniper in the agile devops team on a bi-weekly basis

• Develop Sailpoint customizations - customizations are required to implement an enhancement that was proposed for the architecture. As sailpoint is the underlying software to run the architecture, it always requires key changes in sailpoint when new enhancement are developed

• Enhance existing DevOps toolchain - how proposals will be prioritized, optimizing the sprint cycle in regards to methods and process improvements

• Align with systems development and operations teams as well as testers - this is related as colleagues from other line organizations that need to support a release change, e.g. for testing procedures. So align different groups of people to execute a change in the technical environment. Align on timeline, step and responsibilities

• Advise testing - how the testing will be done, e.g. define and document test scenarios
