My Client, a leading Swiss Global Bank who is currently on an exciting growth curve are seeking a Data Analyst an initial 6 months with a strong likelihood for extension to be based at their Zurich site.Key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing data pipelines
- Daily batch run implementation
- Generating derived data feeds
- Pipeline refactoring and optimization
- Pipeline logging
- Unit, integration and regression testing
- Documentation of design, functionalities, tests
- Design and management of data models and ontologies
- Collaboration with business to generate new reports / insights
The successful incumbent will possess:
- 6+ year of experience working as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer
- 3+ years of Python experience
- Fluent English
- Experience of working in an agile environment
- Team player
- Working experience with Data Models and Database design
- Experience with Data Discovery and Data Cleaning on new data including Extract, Transform and Load (ETL)
If the candidate possesses experience of working with PySpark or other distributed computing tools (Cloudera, HDFS), Foundry / Palantir tools, Business Analysis, Java, SQL with a basic understanding of machine learning and has worked in the banking industry, this would be highly advantageous.
