Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Avionics Certification department position looks for a contractor as Certification Engineer and this contractor will support the Certification, Safety and Cybersecurity Department that gathers the certification specialists operating over the region.
The contractor will act as the certification specialist for programs execution and in this context, will report and work closely with Certification lead.
This position is to support the Tornado program certification.

Job Responsibilities:
In this perspective, he/she will be in charge of:
Performing the certification activities required as part of the certified programs. They may include:
Developing system, hardware and software certification plans
Performing all system, hardware and software SOI reviews on programs
Coordinating the compliance to the certification requirements including Special Conditions, EASA Certification Memorandums and more generally European applicable regulations
Supporting/training the development teams on the application of the certification requirements
Developing the system, hardware and software certification summaries including DDP, HAS and SAS
Interfacing/supporting the Customer and Engineering teams on any certification question.
Support to the production of software and hardware certification plans
Certification review of software and hardware specification/design requirements documents
Support to the production of the Multicore solution compliance with CAST-32A paper
Certification support to the team
Reporting to the Certification lead

In addition, the candidate will actively support the development of customer EU certification skills and methods with regards to new design / regulation technical topics such as MultiCore architecture.

Technical Qualification
- Strong knowledge and certification experience in the application of DO-254, DO-178B/C standards and associated EASA Certification Memos
- Good knowledge of ARP-4754a and DO-297 standards
- Significant airborne development experience especially in the domain of complex airborne electronic hardware and low level software
- MultiCore development and certification experience
- System Safety background
- Experienced certification engineer
- Multicore certification experience including CAST-32A good knowledge
