Role: Product Designer (1x Senior, 1x Junior)Language: English and Dutch essential
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Duration: Freelance 6+ month contract (40 hours per week)
Start Date: April 2021
We have a unique opportunity for you to work for a client who is working on innovative trade and supply projects. They are taking an unique approach of balancing human-centred and digital design with an agile technology capability to tackle complex problems in forward thinking ways. You will have the opportunity to get involved at all stages from discovery and design, to embedding and scaling so we are looking for candidates who are creative outside the box thinkers with entrepreneurial mindsets, not afraid of challenges.
The role will start remote but once things calm down with covid, it would require you to be onsite in Amsterdam. It is a 12 month full-time freelance contract where we are looking for a candidate who will then want to continue on a long term basis on a permanent contract.
We are looking for two candidates, one junior and one senior who have all (or at least most) of the following experience (juniors - you will just be advantageous to learn what you don't already have):
- 1+ years’ experience in a Product design role
- Agile experience working within cross functional teams
- Adobe CS skills
- Passion for UX and UI
- Product Management exposure/experience
- Experience building marketing facing mobile/web apps
- eCommerce experience
- oil and energy or renewables experience is advantageous or at least an interest in renewables and sustainable ways forward
- B2C experience
- Experience or at the very least frontend coding knowledge is ideal
