Skills needed: Java and Cucumber

Quality Engineer:
- Can create automation scripts from scratch in programming languages like Java (or) JavaScript
- Familiar with working in a BDD environment
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber & Gherkin
- Proficient using Selenium Web Driver
- Experience of working within an Agile scrum team
- Strong at User acceptance testing- (UAT)
- Understanding and appreciation for Java and ideally worked closely with a Java development team
- Experience of testing RESTful API's
- Experience in testing automation within a continuous integration environment (ideally Jenkins)
- Cross browser testing tools (ideally Sauce Lab)
- Experience working with build tools like maven or gradle
- Proficient in writing good selectors for identifying Webelements
- Ensure the appropriate test coverage for functional and regression testing
- Participate, as a part of a Scrum team, in shaping User Stories and identifying acceptance criteria and key test scenarios
- Automate functional testing in sprint and maintaining regression packages
- Understand and apply industry best practices, foster knowledge sharing to provide solutions for complex business problems where no precedent may exist and ensure implementation of solutions where appropriate.
