Software Developer/Engineer - Full Stack - Java, Spring, REST API
Contract: Until 31 Dec 2021 (Renewable)
Rate: £450 to £485 per Day - INSIDE IR35
London, East London (currently remote - moving to 2 days a week in office)
One of the world's leading engineering and manufacturing companies and a household name is seeking Full Stack Engineers to work on connected customer experience apps which enhance the customer experience, drive loyalty, maximise uptime and monetize the connected eco-system.
The successful candidates are expected to embrace Lean/Agile and Extreme Programming practices across the full stack of technologies, they will collaborate directly and continuously with product managers, product designers, full stack developers and business partners to release early and often whilst building enterprise-scale, customer focussed software products.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities and Essential Experience Required:
> Minimum 5 years Java or Kotlin development experience building micro service and cloud based solutions using Spring, Spring Boot, OAuth, Swagger and Postman.
> Experience with cloud environments (Azure, GCP, Pivotal Cloud Foundry or similar)
> Web service delivery experience (using REST) for Back End services.
> Experience with TDD and Agile Methodologies.
> Experience with software development tools (backlog management, source code management, automated and unit test management, CI/CD, etc.)
> Proven ability to work both individually and collaboratively.
> History of developing self and others, particularly with respect to software engineering skills.
> Strong all-round communication skills (written/presentation, one-to-one/group) and a customer-focused approach to delivery.
Desirable (not essential) Experience Preferred:

~ Front End user experience in JavaScript plus either Vue or React.
~ Experience in pair programming.
