Java Developer - Contract Inside IR35
Opportunity to join an exciting consultancy who are looking for a Java Developer to help build the next generation of an exciting digital delivery platform. This company is based in central London, they will be working fully remotely for the time being and long-term very flexible with remote working - a few days a month onsite is fine.
To be suitable for this Java Developer position you need to be highly skilled, self-motivated, and passionate about development. The Java Developer (Spring, TDD, AWS, Kafka) would be joining a fast-paced environment on an initial 12-month contract, strong potential for multiple extension and becoming long-term engagement. The Java Developer (AWS, Kafka) will be working on exciting projects using Java11, AWS, Kafka, Spring Boot and agile practises (TDD).
Lots of greenfield work going on with modern Java and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).

To be considered for this role the Java Developer should have:
- Extensive experience using Java8+ (preferably Java11)
- Experience deployed microservices in AWS
- Use of Spring Boot
- Strong communicator
- Thorough understanding of Agile methods, specifically TDD
- Comfortable with pair programming
