Oracle DBA - 6 months Contract - Inside IR35
The Oracle DBA urgently required by market leading organisation based on Nottinghamshire.
This role is currently 100% remote, but this could change in Q3 this year.
The Oracle DBA will be required to manage all aspects of the end-to-end delivery of support for all of the Oracle Servers & Databases, adhering to the relevant standards and assisting projects where necessary
The Oracle DBA will assist in the design, development, support, administration, reporting, performance tuning and monitoring of their Oracle RDBMS platforms working in a business-critical production environment.
Technical Skills for this SQL DBA will include:
- Inside IR35
- A solid background in database administration is required - Both supporting and building Oracle databases within a highly professional environment
- Oracle RDMBS platforms across multiple versions - must have Oracle 18c
- Oracle 18c essential
- Any experience with OEM, Oracle Recovery, Oracle Diagnostics & Tuning packs
- Data Guard would be an advantage
- Excellent back-up and recovery experience
- Performance Optimisation
- Investigating Problems
- Security and Access management
- Understanding of Back-up, Restore and ETL advantageous
- Maintenance of business-critical systems
- Reviewing and tuning SQL - PL/SQL code
