SQL Server Developer/Database Administrator (DBA) - remote/Oxfordshire - Outside IR35
£ per day - 1 to 2 days per week for an initial 3 month period.
Our client is a well established, successful developer of market leading software solutions.
Due to the forthcoming launch of a new SaaS product set, they now require the support of an experienced SQL Developer/Database Administrator (DBA) for 1 to 2 days per week, for an initial 3 month period.
This is a hybrid' role involving hands-on SQL Server Development and SQL Server DBA activities. You will need to have experience of planning, developing and monitoring SQL databases (various versions of SQL Server - DTS, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL) and be proficient in SQL replication. You will also have hands-on experience in high availability and redundancy options, database mirroring and availability groups, as well as writing stored procedures and reviewing query plans.
This role also offers the opportunity to provide database consultancy for the new SaaS product, which is set up in Azure.
