Data Modeller - Database Designer - SQL Server and/or Oracle
Experienced Data Modeller/DatabaseDesigner is required by a leading UK Microsoft Gold Partner Consultancy based in West Sussex.

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller/Database Designer, ideally with experience in the financial services or investments sector, to analyse data required by enterprise applications, design conceptual and logical data models for that data, and then physical databases designs for use on Oracle and SQL Server based relational database Servers.
The successful candidate will have experience in designing data models for online transaction processing systems, any additional experience in designing for data warehouse/reporting systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
You should have 7+ years of Datamodelling experience and should be able to use your knowledge and expertise to provide solutions to complex business problems.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Data analysis and modelling experience in the financial sector.
- Experience in designing conceptual and logical data models.
- Experience in designing physical data models for relational databases.
- Experience in designing databases for online transaction processing systems.
- Hands-on experience designing for at least one of SQL Server or Oracle.
- Strong communication skills and client facing experience.
Optional Skills:
- Experience in design databases for data warehouse/reporting systems.
- Designing databases for high performance and query performance tuning.
