Description
Our private sector, system integrator client who specialises in working in the public sector, has won a major bid to support a government department migrate away from their dependency on the incumbent supplier.
This long-running programme will involve extensive migration and digital transformation.
We would like to speak with contract Test Engineers that have experience in the following disciplines and tooling:
- Automated testing capability, including unit and UI-driven testing
- Ability to work to test-driven development and modern software development life cycle techniques
- Competency testing APIs using postman
- Continuous integration with Jenkins or similar
- Browser-based testing using Selenium
- Exposure to NoSQL databases for example MongoDB
Due to the secure nature of the project and the specific test environments, some time will be required on client site.
The client has multiple offices around the UK and you will be able to choose which is most convenient for you and based in the following counties:
- Essex
- Shropshire
- West Yorkshire
- Northumberland
- Edinburgh
Please note that all candidates expressing an interest for this role will need to be security cleared or security clearable, which would mean living and working in the UK for a minimum 5 years.
The client will be confirming day rates imminently and will take in to account the inside IR35 determination.
