Frontend Developer (AI/Hive - Big Data) - £600 per day - Remote Working - Insurance
Location: Remote/London
Overview:
An exciting opportunity has come around for a Frontend Developer to join one of the leading players in the insurance market as part of their Investments AI team.
Role & Responsibilities:
Take ownership of a significant part of the team's solution development.
Demonstrate end-to-end understanding of applications being created.
Translate user stories and wireframes into a reliable, responsive experience.
Contribute to Peer Review process to ensure code quality.
Technical Requirements:
Demonstrated experience writing extensible Front End code using at least one modern JavaScript framework (ie React, Vue or Angular).
Solid grasp of the web fundamentals (eg ES6, HTML and CSS extensions such as SASS
Broad understanding of algorithms and data structures.
Demonstrated experience with UI testing frameworks (eg Jasmine, PhantomJS, Jest and others).
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Desirable:
Cloud platforms (eg Amazon Web Services).
Familiarity with cross-environment build automation, and tool chain (eg Webpack, Gulp, Grunt).
Familiarity with Continuous Deployment pipelines and configuration (eg Jenkins, Chef, Docker).
Curiosity of latest Machine learning applications.
Rate/Duration:
£600 per day.
6 months.
