Job Title: Front End Developer
Location: Remote at present then likely Manchester/Newcastle
Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Must be willing to engage via an approved umbrella company
As a Senior Front End Developer you will build accessible user interfaces for the clients services which work effectively across multiple devices and browsers. You will use modern tooling and development techniques to iteratively write and share test-driven code. You will have expert level knowledge of modern web development stacks, web standards, user experience, progressive enhancement, performance, accessibility, browser compatibility, tooling and pipelines.
Responsibilities include:
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary agile team responsible for turning concepts into production-ready user-centred services
* Responsible for building accessible and performant interfaces across multiple devices and browsers
Essential skills and experience:
Node.js JavaScript Express React GraphQL Docker Redis GIT using Gitlab CI/CD Mocha Chai (for TDD) Selenium Jasmine Rest using OAS (Open API Specification) Experience of working with AWS, including SQS and SNS BFF pattern
