Python developer to work on Enterprise Risk Architecture (ERA), a team that operates across all business areas within RISK focussed on risk analytics, modelling and industrialisation. Exciting opportunity banking not required. Long term project.
Essential skills
- Strong python development skills in an operations role
- Good SQL & Oracle skills
- Data heavy
- Worked in a production/support environment
- Really strong communication as will be talking to loads of stakeholders
The role
- Acquire data from operational silos to integrate into chain modelling
- Analyse raw data
- Improve data reliability, Processing efficiency and quality
- Manage large datasets to help solve business issues
- Data driven automation
- Maintain strong relationship with core application development, DBAs and APS teams to understand where strategic development needs to be defined vs operational automation/data processing needs
Skills:
- Intermediate to Advance skills across Linux/UNIX Systems, Windows Systems, Python, Oracle/SQL, Django Framework.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to absorb, retain and document knowledge
