API Developer with MuleSoft - €500+ per day

Global leader in the field of Data Security requires a contract Test Automation Architect who has experience in the Banking and Financial Services Sector for an Upcoming project.
The ideal candidate will have worked on similar projects within the banking and/or financial services sector. They should also be a subject matter expert (SME) in Cucumber and Appium (mobile testing tool)
While challenging, the role offers ambitious Test Architects the chance to further their careers in a dynamic and innovative working environment.
Due to the ongoing Covid 19 restrictions, this role will be offered on a remote basis initially but as the situation improves the Senior Security SME will be expected to make themselves available onsite for key meetings and at least some days every week.
Responsibilities of Role
Identifying, analysing, designing and developing APIs and integration flows using Mule ESB Anypoint platform and Anypoint Studio
Experience in design and developing framework components within Mule ESB
Creation and reviewing of logical designs and low level designs working with other technical leads and solution architects within the API squads
Software development using various programming languages and related tools and frameworks
Code reviews, defect triage and fixing, unit testing, providing support for integration testing and non-functional testing
Ability to take the lead on large pieces of design and development
Mentor and coach junior engineers within the squad
Explaining technical issues to project managers, developers, team leads and architects in an easy to understand manner and recommend clearly thought out solutions
Develop solutions in adherence with the banks standards and policies
Highlight where assets or capabilities could be created/adopted
Essential Candidate requirements
Degree qualified - in IT, Computer Science or appropriate Equivalent
Previous experience is using MuleSoft tools to design/connect APIs that enable various applications to communicate with one another. (MuleSoft experience is ab absolute must for this role)
Previous Experience developing applications using Java, J2EE, SWING, Multithreading, JMS, JDBC, EJB3.0/2.0,Servlets,JSP, JSF, XML, XSLT, RAML, YAML, JSON, JWT other J2EE technologies based on Struts
(MVC), JSF/ICE faces, Liferay, Spring and Hibernate
Strong familiarity and some previous experience working on projects with Agile, waterfall and prevalent development methodologies.
Highly competent in solution design and developing applications using SOA, Micro services, API, SOA.
Knowledge of Virtual Web services, Micro services and API's (SOAP and REST) design and development
Proficient in using Oracle8i/9i/10g/11g and PL/SQL.
Hands on experience in developing applications in both UNIX/Linux and Windows environments

Willing to work on-site in Ireland when Covid-19 restrictions are eased
