QA Automation Engineer | Inside IR35 | Remote working
Our client is leader in providing cutting-edge Technology to the Insurance industry and they are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join their Tech team with some experience in BDD, Automation Testing, Agile (Scrum) and Scripting.
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
- Working Knowledge in BDD (mandatory)
- Identify, document and resolve issues and defects in QA environment.
- Some experience with automated software quality assurance tools like Selenium and Appium (nice to have).
- ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification is desirable.
- Experience in identifying, defining and developing detailed test cases and automated test scripts to test against all relevant product requirements and assure traceability to those test cases
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Work with BAs, Product Owner's and developers to agree test cases and their acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrable experience of writing SQL scripts for data extraction and validation purposes.
- Knowledge of API/web services testing tools, such as SOAPUI
- Experience with automated software quality assurance tools like Selenium and Appium.
- Understanding of agile software development iteration management and software quality assurance processes.
- Good analytical skills and experience
- Experience in log analysis.
- Experience in HP ALM and Jira.
