Description
Financial Services Firm is hiring for a Contract UI Developer for an internal development project. This is for a 3-month Contract to start with, and there will be a likely extension to 6 months. This is based in the City, and the rate is between £350 - £400 per day, outside of IR35. React/Redux is essential for this role.
You will be working with teams delivering complex projects in the Financial Services sector. You will be involved in technical analysis, design, development and testing.
Skills include:
* Full Stack development skills, with solid knowledge of Server Side languages (Java, NodeJS, Python, C#), as well as Front End skills
* Ability to conduct careful, structured analysis on complex requirements in order to identify effective solutions
* Strong knowledge of Internet communication protocols and data formats (JSON, HTTP*, REST)
* Strong database knowledge including transactions, indexing and SQL
* Strong experience in JavaScript libraries with a focus on writing modular, asynchronous JavaScript.
* Strong knowledge of React/Redux
* Extensive knowledge of ES6+/ES2015+, Promises and NodeJS
* Strong knowledge in web build systems and tooling
* Strong knowledge of CSS3 and CSS frameworks
* Experience of at least one JavaScript testing framework
* DevOps would be highly desirable
