We are currently working with an Investment Bank who are in search of a Murex Developer to join their team.
Context:
A software developer with strong experience of Murex and Sybase is required to join the Front Office IT team. The successful candidate will be working on our Murex FX options system as part of a small team delivering critical services for Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office users. He or she will become part of a fast-paced, highly agile and delivery-oriented culture.
Skills:
Key skills required are excellent knowledge of Murex (v 2.11 preferred) and expertise in relational databases - especially Sybase. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Murex trade life cycle, DataMart reporting, and Sybase stored procedures.
Business analysis skills and a good understanding of FX option products would also be very helpful. Finally, the ideal candidate would have some experience with SQL, XML, Perl, UNIX Scripting, and Java.
Experience of team leadership would also be an advantage. Strong expertise, a fantastic attitude, flexibility and commitment to delivery are keys to success for this role.
