An experienced Software Engineer with extensive experience working with .NET CORE is needed to join a market leading technology company on an initial 12-month contract. The role pays between £500 - £650 per day inside IR35 and we are looking for contractors who can start in the next 4 weeks.
Software Engineering is core to their business. By designing and implementing Real Time systems, their engineers are solving some of the world's most complex financial problems.
The Software Engineering team is responsible for providing a cutting-edge product set for building, testing and continuous integration pipelines to be used by both the development and research organisations.
As the Software Engineer you will be primarily responsible for:
- Crafting large scale service-oriented systems.
- Software performance optimisation.
- API design for use in a Real Time environment.
- Troubleshooting.
The key skills required for the Software Engineer include:
- An understanding of good software architecture, computer science fundamentals and data structures.
- Excellent object-oriented programming skills
- Significant experience in C#, Python, .NET Core, Linux
- Good problem solving skills
The beneficial skills include:
- Good knowledge of Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery.
- Concurrent and distributed systems design.
- Secure software engineering.
- Experience of any of the following languages: C++/CLI, F#, JavaScript, T-SQL.
- Engineering large software systems using modern scalable architecture.
