I am working with a really exciting global client who are the hunt for 15 Contract Scala Developers across 4 different projects over the next 9 months for their media projects in W.London/mostly remote. This is really promising opportunity to grow your career.
If you're not looking now, but will in a few months time and want to line up your next contract, then we'd be happy to get you shortlisted ahead of time.
Rate: £625 - £675 a day Inside IR35.
Duration: 6 months rolling. 2+ years worth of work.
Location: West London but will consider candidates who are only able to get in 2-4 days a month.
Experience required:
- Solid commercial experience as a Scala developer
- Strong TDD/BDD and unit testing skills
- Strong experience of DevOps eg Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery practices
- Passion for Agile software delivery and pair programming best practices
- RESTful Web Services/APIs
- Akka, Spray or Play
Nice to have:
- NFT testing skills with experience of Gatling
- Background in software development for high traffic, high availability large scale Back End systems
- Background in monitoring tools such as Grafana/Prometheus etc
- ScalaTest
