Currently we are looking for Oracle Database Administrator
Roles & Responsibilities
- Management of an Oracle (12C or 19C) RAC production environment
- Management of production environment builds based on Oracle Clusterware RAC on RHEL 7/8
- Management of upgrading production Oracle Clusterware with minimum downtime
- Management of a large Oracle RDBMS database, ie in excess of fifteen Terabytes
- Management of an Oracle 12C/19C RDBMS in a Unix/Linux n-tier and Windows environment including zero downtime patching in RAC environment
- Management of database cloning including SAN Snap Cloning with ASM
- Management of an Oracle RDBMS in an environment where business applications are written in Java and Python and deployed to Oracle Oracle WebLogic and Red Hat Openshift
- Management of an Oracle database environment shared between multiple (30+) bespoke applications
- Management of Java and Python programming in an Oracle environment
- Management of GIS databases to include Oracle Spatial and Graph, Arc GIS and Geoserver including GIS database performance tuning.
- Management of an Oracle database environment shared between multiple (100+) applications
- Management of backup, recovery and disaster recovery methods in a production environment
- Working with development teams from analysis through development and testing to production stage
