Description
Experis have a new 6 month Public Sector contract opportunity for a Data Engineer with experience in Python, SQL and Java.
Length: 6 months
Location: Remote but will have to travel to Manchester a couple of times towards the end of the contract
Rate: £480-£509 per day
Project Scope:
The scope of this Programme is to transform Customer Notifications & Communications enabling wider customer preference and offering wider digital channels, in turn reducing service costs & technical debt whilst implementing an exemplar industry standard Notification Service.
Core Skills:
- Previous experience as a Data Engineer in a professional setting
- Years Python experience in a professional setting
- SQL (either Proc SQL, NoSQL, MySQL, SQLite, Spark SQL, Hive SQL or PostgreSQL)
- Java
- Experience with at least 1 of the following technologies: Cloudera; Hue; NiFi; Hbase; Bash; Assist; Putty; Neo4J; Spark Streaming; Kafka; HDFS; Oozie; Git Hub; Unix; Hadoop; Impala; DoJo; Flume; Elastic; Logstash; Kibana; Hive; Informatica; Cuteftp; Genesys
