Excel Expert/Excel Developer/VBA Developer - 6 Month Contract - Fully Remote (SC Clearance)
A VBA Excel Developer/Excel Expert is required to work for a leading financial organisation who are currently behind on a critical project relating to the conversion of incoming messages.
The successful VBA Excel Developer/Excel expert would work on developing an end to end application, responsible for the conversation of incoming messages via Swift, converting them over to XML; and then converting to Excel/VBA.
As such the VBA Excel Developer/Excel expert would be responsible for designing, creating and supporting MS Excel-based documents used internally by the Bank. Once implemented you would be tasked with documenting the system and training users.
Essential Skills:
- Expert of Microsoft Excel
- Expert in Coding in VBA and creating DLLs for excel
- Ability to write VBA scripts to extract data from XML or CSV to excel sheets
- Expertise on using Macros, Pivot tables, LOOKUP functions, Data filters and perform conditional formatting
- Ability to create templates for Middle Office team to support data reconciliation
- Ability to extract required dataset from master data for end users to perform penalty calculations
- Ability to convert XML to XLS using VBA
- Active X data objects
- Ways to pass VBA functions
- Experience working on and converting Swift messages
- Excellent Documentation and Written capability
- Experience providing system training
- SC Clearance/SC Cleared/Security Clearance
Role:
- The role is inside of IR35
- The role is for an initial 6 months with view of multiple extensions
- The role is fully remote (this is due to COVID)
- Due to the nature of the client's industry you will need to have SC Clearance
