Description
Solution Design EngineerRecruiting a Solution Design Engineer for my London based client on a 3 month contract basis. The successful candidate will be working on a project involving the replacement of a core in-house usage management system, working closely with solution architecture and design, senior developers, business analysts and end-users, to help design and develop a new solution for the future of usage processing and management.
Experience
- 5 years minimum experience of designing, developing and supporting both bespoke and packaged applications in a structured development environment
- 3 year's + hands-on AWS experience
- Strong developer background in Java/Python
- Strong experience in producing high and low-level designs on the AWS platform
- A proven track record of providing support to developers throughout the build phase of projects
- Participation in at least two medium-sized systems implementation projects on the AWS platform
- Experience in the use of Agile development methodologies
- Experience with the full software or systems development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, integration, testing, and implementation
- Experience of projects involving multiple business units/user communities and that involve a significant element of business change
Skills required:
- Working in an agile environment using JIRA and Confluemce
- Ability to interpret written requirements and translate in to low-level technical designs
- Troubleshooting skills and ability to solve complex problems
