Description
Two Python Developers required with any of the following experience:
- Demonstrable competence in Python, Linux, and git/github
- Familiarity with one or more compiled programming languages, eg Fortran, C, C++
- Working with large, complex codebases
The successful candidates will demonstrate a high level of technical insight to deliver high-quality software. Have a comprehensive computer science background including databases, web applications, object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures. Have experience of professional collaborative software development processes such as code documentation, code review, version control, testing methods. Experience of working within a defined quality-focused development cycle.
Experience of DSL's, ideally PSyClone; workflows involving Intermediate Representations, eg fparser; and developing large scientific applications are desirable
Working in the Public Sector with Security Clearance would be advantageous.
This role is in scope of IR35, and subject to security vetting prior to starting the contract role.
