Interaction Designer/UX Designer - Government Client 4 month contract - Sept 2021 - Dec 20210 - Further Extensions Possible - Remote Opportunity with occassional trips onsite (based West Midlands) - Paying a highly attractive Day Rate - Outside IR35.SmartSourcing is currently looking for a highly skilled Interaction Designer to join one of our most prestigious Government clients.
The Interaction Designer will be require to support the discovery phase of a high profile piece of work. Working as part of the Customer Digital Services, the Interaction Designer will be responsible for the following:
- Stakeholder collaboration - Work with all business and technical stakeholders to understand and interpret the requirements for the service vision
- Understand existing service - Understand the existing supporting system of a service and design targeted improvements to that system to accommodate the new service - both digital and process based
- Initial concepts - Application of strategic thinking in how to provide the best service for the end user and identify initial concepts
The successful applicant will work with User Researcher's and BA's to understand user needs analysis.
Role Duties - Applicants must be able to show experience of the following:
End to end journey - Develop end to end journey for service and/or enhancements to existing services
Work on all levels of the service, from high-level flows and journeys to the fine detail of individual parts
Solution identification - Identify and design potential solutions (and assisted solutions) new and enhancements to existing services
Identifying opportunities for cost reduction
Providing improvements for user journeys
Applying digital understanding and alignment with project GDS standard
Prototypes/Wireframes - Develop prototypes and/or wireframes to support strategic service and end to end design
