Data Systems Analyst - Markit EDM, Wealth Management, SQL
An established and well-respected Asset Management/Investments Client currently requires highly experienced Data Systems Analyst with Markit EDM experience.
Joining an existing Application Development team, successful candidate will work on data integration between EDM and Oracle as well as be involved in development of bespoke and packaged software, focussing on applications that are essential to business.
Taking a pragmatic approach to recruitment on this, our Client is seeking candidates with proven skills & experience in this area in order to hit the ground running.
To be successful, skills & experience should include;
*Extensive Data Systems Analysis experience within the Financial Services Sector covering full software development process
*Extensive knowledge & experience of the Investment Data landscape and Data Management ideally coming from another Asset Management Client
*Knowledge & experience around Markit EDM
*Demonstrable experience working with Oracle and SQL
*Data management knowledge including securities, parties and data suppliers
*Familiarity of agile development methodologies eg Scrum preferred
*Excellent people, communication & Stakeholder Management skills
Initial Contracts will be for 6 months, remotely based (some time Edinburgh based once a return to the office is in sight) and the contract will required to be facilitate via an Umbrella Company.
