Senior Python Developer - 12 month contract
Location & Duration: Remote with occasional travel to Cambridge - 12 months
Rate & Engagement: Outside IR35 - to £625 per day
Investigo have partnered with a well-known PharmaTech software house with offices across the UK who are looking to rebuild and design two critical applications. We are looking to engage a Senior Developer with skills in Python on a 12 month contract basis. You'll contribute to a whole new project re-build and act as a true consultant by guiding them in best of tech, build, etc.
This role will work on a project outside of BAU and we have confirmed this role is outside IR35 - there is the opportunity for up to 3 consultants to join this project. Technically you'll be working mainly with Python, but also across the application build who use web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and frameworks). The applications are going to be built using a combination of Front End; Vue, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with Back End built using Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy and SQL.
Skills
- A hands-on full-stack development background working with Python, Flask, SQL (and a combination of the above) building SaaS/PaaS applications
- Previous experience working on cloud platforms, tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Containerization
- Experienced working in a TDD and Agile way
- Any experience working with Python based web server gateway interfaces, message-broker systems, or NoSQL storage would be hugely beneficial
This is an outside IR35 engagement with a day rate on offer of up to £625 per day. Initial contract duration will be 12 months, the process will be submissions no later than Friday 6th August with interviews taking place immediately after this date - therefore an immediate start is preferred.
