We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a Solution Architect(Must have Active SC Cleared) for one of their Public Clients based in Remote.

- Start Date subject to SC BEING VALIDATED BY CG Vetting Team which will be progressed at offer stage

Job Description:
- The end client programme requires someone in this Solution Architect role with experience in UNIX (Solaris/Linux) Servers and systems, from Strategy and Architecture all the way through the life cycle to Implementation and Automation
Responsibilities:
- Technical attendance of steering group meetings
- Rewriting of Scripting and cluster custom control modules (working with delivery partner adding value)
- Technical validation of all engineering work prior to sign off
- Supplier escalations and working with the product owner and delivery managers at all levels.
- Working closely with suppliers as the technical interface of migrations.
- Technical planning and involvement with all migrations within DWH-R
- Coordinate and guide solution development and implementation activities with Delivery teams
- Adoption, application, and oversight of architectural governance, ensuring that optimal approaches are used.
Key Skills required:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Good technical understanding of the key components of the DWH service, including Oracle databases, Informatica, SAS, and other supporting technologies.
Wants:
- Good understanding of DWP policies, processes and on-prem hosting procedures.
- Good understanding of the technical services organisations and operating model.
- Experience and a well-developed understanding of DWP regulations and protocol.
