Leading Cambridgeshire based business are looking for an experienced BI Developer to provide support on a 6 month project to deliver a full BI/Analytics Azure DWH solution.
Experience/technical skills
- Proven experience as a BI Developer
- Experience of building a greenfield data warehouse with experience of Azure Data Warehouse
- Data Vizualisation - Power BI highly desirable
- Designing data warehouses (eg dimensional modelling) and data mining is essential.
- Evaluating and improving existing BI systems.
- Translating business needs into technical specifications.
- Designing, building and deploying BI solutions (eg reporting tools).
- Creating tools to store data (eg, OLAP cubes using SSAS)
- Database management systems, OLAP and ETL frameworks.
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SSRS, SSIS
