Senior Python Developer - Insurance
Our client based in the City are recruiting a Senior Python Developer on an initial 6-month contract outside IR35 to support a multi-year programme with several active work streams.
Experience Required:
- Experience with Python frameworks (eg Django, Flask, Bottle)
- Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience working with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or equivalent data stores Familiar with Git or Mercurial
- Experience with REST Qauth/JWT token authentication.
- REST API design and implementation experience.
- Experience Developing Common Framework Components (DB connections mgmt., Error/Exception handling, Operational Execution Logging, Execution Monitoring, input validations etc.)
- Knowledge of JavaScript and the AngularJS framework is a plus
- Leadership skills
This is an initial 6-month contract role paying up £500 - £550 per day outside IR35.
