Cloud Engineer-AWS:
Roles & Responsibilities:
• 6 plus years of experience with Cloud and on-prem infrastructure provisioning.
• Technical mastery of networking, VPNs, compute infrastructure (servers, databases, firewalls, load balancers, etc), and architecting/developing/maintaining production-grade systems in virtualized environments.
• Applied experience migrating complex, multi-tiered workloads from on-prem to the cloud, including provisioning the target infrastructure and executing cutover plans that minimize system downtime.
• Applied experience delivering immutable infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, cloud-formation etc.
• Applied experience delivering continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, utilizing techniques like blue/green and canary deployments, with tools such as AWS Pipelines, GITLAB or Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of systems monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Experience of using Kubernetes Clusters and Helm charts to deploy and manage applications in containers.
• Leveraging AWS services as needed to help with automation and hosting solutions such as KMS, Secrets Manager, Lambda/Fargate, ElasticSearch, etc.
• Help create requirements and procedures for implementing routine maintenance.
• Troubleshooting existing information systems for errors and resolving those errors.
• Solid understanding of SaaS and multi-tenancy application design.
• Experience being an administrator on a variety of Linux distributions.
• Working knowledge of VMware, KVM, Xen, Hyper-V, or other virtualization software (Good to have)
