We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a DBA for one of their Clients based in Southend, UK.
- IR35: This role is inside of IR35
- Initial duration: 6 months
Must: RDS Aurora experience
Brief Description of Role:
PDS POC:
- Provide detailed database design for the target database for which RDS Aurora - MySQL has been chose
PDS DBA:
- Wide remit to support developers, work on functional DB changes as required for feature development. Work with the wider CDS and BOLT teams to ensure PDS DB modifications are released into environments as required.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- RDS Aurora
- Migration toolset/synchronisation experience. AWS DMS (preferable)
- Data security - eg. Encryption for Data in Transit and at Rest
- Oracle 19c
- SQL
- Oracle ASM, RMAN, RAC, Dataguard, Pluggable database/Multitenant
Brief Description of Tasks to perform:
- RDS Aurora
- Oracle

- SQL tuning
- Performance Tuning
- AWR, ADDM
What Technologies are they required to know:
- RDS Aurora
