Description

The Team:

The role is part of the Global Market Intelligence, Reporting and Strategic Real Estate & Work Force Planning team providing monthly reporting and analysis on financial performance across Revenue, Expense, EBITA and Balance Sheet.

The Impact:

This position will drive the development of Tableau and Anaplan dashboards which is critical to provide senior business leadership with financial performance and metrics data presented in a clear, consistent, accurate, efficient, and flexible manner to drive and support decision making.

The Team are implementing new enterprise wide ERP/EPM solution (Oracle cloud) and this position will play a key role in assisting with the conversion of reports and outlining best practices within new reporting tool capabilities.

They also recently announced a merger which will require 2 businesses to be consolidated from an operational as well as financial performance perspective, driving a number of changes to BAU processes and reporting requirements that this position will be required to support.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development work for Tableau, Anaplan and Oracle cloud dashboards/reports
  • Perform monthly maintenance and oversight of developed dashboards to ensure proper functionality
  • Assist with conversion of regular PowerPoint reports to Tableau
  • Assist with Oracle Cloud (Tuscany) Report conversion
  • Support MI & Finance teams in training in Tableau and other reporting tools under Oracle Cloud

What We're Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years working experience with Tableau to mine, transform and visualize data. Up to date on latest version and product capabilities, familiar with Tableau's API
  • Knowledge of data analytical tools such as Alteryx.
  • Experience in implementation of end-to-end life cycle projects including dimensional modelling, ETL/integration processes, and metadata modelling.
  • Ability to take lead in BI projects and pro-actively suggest innovative solutions.
  • Solid analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as a fully contributing member of a multi-locational team along with ability to work to challenging, often conflicting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Finance background/experience desirable including an understanding of finance processes.
