Project Background:
A tool is to be implemented independently that can be accessed by Warehouse users to retrieve event-based data as needed. These queries will be based on predefined SQL queries provided by Team Care. These pre-built queries can contain placeholders for user input, which are then substituted during runtime.
Goal of the project:
The goal is to provide a (near) Real Time, easy-to-maintain, and efficient self-service system that can be used for operations to meet operational data needs. Operational data here refers to all data needed to support day-to-day operations, ie, processing and controlling orders in the warehouse (as opposed to post-factual management/performance reports generated by BI).
To meet privacy and trade secrets requirements, authorization must be secured prior to retrieving data. In addition, the scope of a query can be limited by the querying user (only data from their own team, etc.).
The queried data should be displayed on the screen, but can also be downloaded as a CSV file.
Tasks:
- Independent creation of a Back End service with connection to the database (Postgres)
- Load SQL query templates and replace placeholders with user input and query data
- Frontend to display queried data and accept user input
- Implement in portal and IAM solution
Must haves:
- Programming experience in Java/Kotlin (BE) and React (FE).
- Project experience AWS/k8s.
- SQL project experience (Postgres).
- Knowledge of using secured rest APIs.
- Integration with existing IAM solution for authorization.
- Integration with tech logistics portal for authentication.
Due to the project timeline, the candidate must be available in a very timely manner.
