Java Backend Developer - Stockholm
Our client is currently looking for a Java Backend Developer to help design, develop and employ Back End services with a main focus on growth and performance. Our client is one of Europe's fastest growing and valued fintech companies today and their services are used by missions of users world wide.
Duties and responsibilities are as followed but not limited to;
- You will be working in a critical space to our clients needs where your be responsible for designing, developing and deploying Back End services focused on scalability, high availability and low latency
- Collaborate and help grow within an dynamic and autonomous environment while working, agile and across various functional teams.
- Problem solving using the latest technologies for customers
- Taking full responsibility of your own services and potentially taking part in the on-call rotation
- Helping with the evolution of best practices and building creative solutions
Required knowledge/Experience
- Experience and knowledge in Software Development ideally Java (however open to other general purpose programming languages)
- Spring and Spring Boot
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Kafka
- DynamoDB, PostgreSQL and Elastic Search
- Miscroservices architecture on AWS
- Good and creative problem solving skills
Main working language is English, position is based in Stockholm and does require consultants to be available to be on-call
