Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Outside IR35
Experienced Site Reliability Engineer needed for a 3-6 month project working with an rapidly-scaling, award winning, disruptive Open Banking payments company.
They are looking for someone to improve the reliability and scalability of their payments platforms as part of their SRE team. Working on multi-tenant platforms with a microservice architecture to monitor, run and troubleshoot distributed applications and understand failure scenarios, capacity planning and load-balancing. You will need to be able to program in Java, Python or Go at a basic level for writing monitoring internal tools. Bonus points for experience of writing distributed tracing and metrics tools and knowledge of how to capture them.
Fully remote, outside IR35.
Tech/Skills:
- Strong AWS skills
- Good level of experience working with Kubernetes
- GKE
- Elastic Search
- Bamboo
- Prometheus
- Some experience with one of Java/Python/Go for writing internal tools and Scripting languages for writing automation scripts
