As an ESRI GIS Developer you'll get involved across the entire Software Development Lifecycle, developing, delivering and supporting bespoke geospatial solutions. Keep yourself challenged on a wide variety of projects, from cutting edge prototypes to maintaining and extending large, established solutions.
What you can bring
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate practical technical experience of geospatial desktop and web application development using the following key technologies:
*Software development using:
C#
.NET Standard or .NET Core
HTML, CSS, JavaScript and client-side JavaScript frameworks
*Geospatial App development using:
ESRI ArcGIS API for JavaScript API and/or ESRI Leaflet
ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .Net
Python or R to develop geoprocessing solutions
Your purpose
As an ESRI GIS Developer with, you will:
*Develop web and desktop ESRI and ArcGIS software solutions, working in small teams following an Agile delivery methodology
*Apply your knowledge of geospatial technology to contribute to the design of technical solutions
*Contribute to research projects through development of prototypes and synthesised geospatial data products
*Maintain and support existing GIS platforms and solutions
*Engage with stakeholders and Product Owners
*Document the design, development and delivery of technical solutions
*Mentor junior staff to aid their development
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
