Data Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform, GCP understanding and Kafka, 6 months rolling contract to work on a project at a leading financial services client.
Requirements
- Google Cloud Platform
- Kafka
- Data Engineering, Data Pipelines
- Good working knowledge of Java, BDD
- Strong CI/CD DevOps understanding
- Data Build tools
- Google database technologies namely Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Spanner
- Google Dataflow, workflow engine
- Kubernetes (GKE)
- CI/CD - Jenkins, Terraform
- Ideally Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer
Remote working for foreseeable future, Contract will fall within scope of IR35, so umbrella company will need to be engaged.
