ROLE: Senior Frontend Developer
CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months, extensions on offer
LOCATION: Remote/London visits 1-2 days a week
DAY RATE: £700-£750
I am looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join an international bank, on a 6 month contract. This is a greenfield project within a new area at the bank, allowing you to work on all aspects of the platform. You will join the team as a Senior Developer, working alongside 4 developers who are currently working a remote/London office split. The Head of Development in this area is open to how this is structured, and believes in a flexible approach to working hours.
If you are an advocate for Agile development, collaboration and communication with developers, analysts, and other developments teams, then this may be the next contract for you. The team are looking for someone who can take ownership of projects and developments, along with providing constructive solutions, implementations and confronting issues head on in a consultative manner.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a hands-on Frontend Developer
- Knowledge of Angular, or another modern JavaScript framework
- Understanding of Node.js, NPM, Grunt, Less
- Delivery-focussed, with attention to detail
- Able to work without supervision, and motivate themselves when focussing on deliverables
- Comfortable with a strong level of autonomy
- Open to working within team set timeframes
- Excellent communication skills, open to working with several teams across the bank
