COMPETENCY- WIRELESS
5 years minimum of relevant experience in Wireless baseband development
Experience developing in C for a DSP platform (Freescale, TI or otherwise) for Wireless baseband - 3G/4G SW and for multi-core/multi-DSP deployment.
Other C/C++ programming experiences requiring high performance and/or low-level hardware control (eg games, drivers) will be valued.
Experience with architecture, design, and implementation of the physical layer of one or more of the following wireless communication standards: 5GNR, 5GTF, LTE, UMTS, GSM, TD-SCDMA, Bluetooth, WiFi, WiMAX, NFC.
Knowledge and experience using DSP/platform intrinsics for code-optimization for cycles and performance
Additionally, the following qualifications will be valued but are not a must:
Experience with simulation and modelling of digital communications systems, using Matlab, Simulink, Python, C/C++ or other simulation and modelling languages and tools.
Experience writing tools (in a Scripting language, C# or C/C++) and performing test automation, particularly controlling instruments through an SCPI interface.
Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink for signal-chain development and simulation for reference test vector generation.
