Description
Python Developer required to join Europe's biggest entertainment brand. You will develop applications capable of accepting large volumes of requests from multiple independent websites 24 hours a day and responding with bespoke payloads in Real Time.
Contract Length: 6 months initially
Rate: £ (dependent on experience, inside IR35)
Location: 2-3 days a week in Isleworth
As a Python Developer within this team you will be tasked with:
- Help design and deliver a production-ready Back End solution running tested Python.
- Work as part of the development team to deliver the foundations of a high traffic and high availability system.
- Collaborate with the product owner to understand the business requirements.
- Work with the testers to identify and ensure acceptance criteria are satisfied.
The skills required of this position:
- Proven delivery experience of large-scale, Python-based Back End projects.
- Understanding of efficient Python data structures and implementations.
- Working with Agile methodologies and Scrum.
- Experience with high volume high availability systems (Back End focus), understanding principles of Micro Services Architecture.
- Familiar with REST APIs, Flask or Django.
- Knowledge of Docker and containers
