Sharepoint/C# Developer
Would you like to gain experience in the banking sector without the usual required banking experience? If so, this could be your ideal opportunity ! This role involves the development of applications on SharePoint by using MS .NET platform with C# combined with some application support.
The role will involve the following:
Interpret business requirements
Designing application structures, business data analysis and programming SharePoint applications in Visual C#.NET on both Oracle and SQL Server
Testing with users
Implementation through Development, Quality Assurance (QA), Production and Disaster Recovery environments.
Supporting users and writing operational documents including user help guides
Support for existing applications which are written in other languages like VB.NET, MS VBA for Excel and Access, MS VB and MS Excel Macros will also be required.
General IT Support to maintain environments where applications are
Updating versions of MS .NET Framework and MS Visual .NET platform to include any necessary changes of existing systems running in Production.
Liaising with the relevant support teams, ie Development, Technical Support, Network and Infrastructure, when users experience system problems.
Maintaining development on SQL Server when changes are made and testing before being rolled out with the assistance of SQL Server DBAs.
Assessing the impact of data processing loads on SQL and Oracle database and when appropriate
To considered for the role you will require the following:
Strong SharePoint development skills and experience
Strong knowledge of SharePoint online (cloud)
Sound C# development skills and knowledge of Visual Studio 2019
Application support skills
Sound knowledge of SQL Server (Oracle Back End knowledge would be highly desirable as well)
Any knowledge of VB.NET, VBA or Excel macros would be a plus
Ability work on your own as well as in a team successfully is essential
