Cloud Engineer, Investment Bank
My client is looking for an experienced contract Cloud Engineer to join the team. The Cloud Engineer will be involved in the project to assist in the development of a new semantic data delivery system. The Cloud Engineer will be forming a part of a wider programme that will help in delivering a new data category management system.
Key skills:
- Java, including Spring
- Scala
- Spark
- Kafka (batch or streaming using Kafka on Cloud - Azure is a distinct advantage)
- Containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- CI/CD including tools such as Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, TeamCity, Gitlabs pipelines
- Experience of building data pipelines
- Investment Banking domain knowledge
