On behalf of our client, a financial service provider based in Prague, we are looking for external support with skills and abilities as stated below:
SW Developer (f/m/x) - Frontend (React) - Risk IT - DMP tools financial area Prague - P948
Our client is one of the leading global market infrastructure providers. Their group provides trading, clearing, settlement, market data distribution and other services for a broad range of asset classes.
They are developing containerized applications on Linux (Ubuntu) machines in Java, Kotlin and Go to be deployed in the OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters, using Java, Kotlin, and Go.
Code changes are tracked in Jira and versioned in GitHub, build process is running in Circle CI and GitHub Actions.
For their location in Prague we are looking for an external service provider - JavaScript (React) developer.
Your tasks responsibilities:
- Design, build, deploy, and improve various applications in agile environment - with focus on Front End web GUI development
- Understand needs of business and translate them into working code
- Manage your own project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
- Collaborate with team members and project stakeholders
You should possess and demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
- Programming competency in JavaScript (React)
- Background in building applications on Linux
- Interest and ability to learn, collaborative working style
- Ability to estimate efforts and meet the agreed timelines and deliverables
- Good written and spoken English
Preferred skills/qualifications - the following skills would be a plus:
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Familiarity with SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres)
- Experience with GitHub, CI/CD (Circle, GitHub Actions, or similar), Jira
- Knowledge of other programming languages we are working with (Java, Kotlin, Go)
- A degree in Computer Science, Math or Engineering or equivalent experience
- An interest or background in mathematics, financial markets, and risk management
Assignment:
- Fulltime (100%)
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: quarter with prolongation
- Location: Prague
