Work Type: Contract - REMOTE INSIDE IR35
5 years of experience with Java development
-Modern architectural syles - non-blocking, asynchronous, reactive, etc.
-Recent J2EE/JEE is red flag
Cloud based architecture
-Container based microservice architecture
-Preferably AWS and Kubernetes but at minimum GCP/Azure + equivalent
-Continuous integration/deployment
More than relational databases
-Kafka/Redis/Elasticsearch/DynamoDB/Modern cache frameworks
High-scale, performant and resilient API's facing consumers
-Loads of 5-10k requests per second
-Resilient architectures, circuit breakers, fall-backs, cashes
-Operational excellence, 99,999% availability, metrics, alerting, observability, on-call
