Description

Our client is currently looking for a Node.JS Software Engineer with Javascript, Node.js, Serverless, AWS, React, Lambda to help build a digital wallet and trading platform that makes cryptocurrencies and other assets affordable and accessible for everyone with more than 6 million customers in multiple countries.

As a Node.JS Software Engineer you will help this platform scale globally, implementing all the best practices. You will design and build services with three core principles in mind: maintainability, performance, and security.

As a Node.JS Software Engineer you will focus on building and improving their consumer and business APIs and the many microservices powering both web and mobile applications. You will be designing and building services with three core principles in mind: maintainability, performance, and security.

If you are excited about high-availability requirements, scalability problems, automated workflows, infrastructure orchestration, queueing systems, APIs, and protocols like GraphQL this is the place for you!

Required qualifications:

  • Spend lots of quality time coding in multiple programming languages and their ecosystems. They like to code mostly in JavaScript (node.js)
  • Work in an environment which champions DevOps practices, microservice architecture, and continues delivery - (AWS/Terraform/Lambda/Node JS/)
  • Strong understanding of relational (preferably PostgreSQL) and/or non-relational databases (eg Redis).
  • Knowledge of revision control systems.
  • Basic knowledge of standard development pipelines, including build and other automation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player with the ability to work in cross-functional teams and with a great attitude.
