Senior Data EngineerGlocomms are expanding rapidly and we are currently working with a Leading Global Technology Company who are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake Expert). This is an urgent position with start dates as soon as possible.
Contract Details:
Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake Expert).
Contract rate: Competitive
6 Months (+ extensions)
Responsibilities:
- Experience in Data integration and migration
- Experience in relational cloud based database technologies
- Strong Experience on Snowflake Analytics
- Analyse production workloads and develop strategies to run Snowflake database with scale and efficiency
- Experience in Snowflake performance tuning, capacity planning, handling cloud spend and utilization is a plus
- Ability to articulate and implement Snowflake standard methodologies and find inventive way of implementing them
- Strong expertise in Azure specifically in compute, storage and security services
- Strong Object oriented programming experience in Python/Java or Scala
