THE COMPANY
One of the top jewellery manufacturers in the world with over 27,300 employees globally is looking for a data and software engineer. The client is looking for someone with strong experience in ETL processes and data pipelines, interested in the DataOps field. The client has highlighted the urgency for this position. Interviews will be scheduled before the end of the week after CV's have been assessed.
The project will consist of Data engineers/architects collectively building a data platform to support their advanced analytics. Strong software engineering skills are essential. Glocomms has successfully placed 10 contractors with them within the last 12 months. Consistently placing contractors with this client has created a strong relationship with the client.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Responsibilities
The daily taks will consist of
- Architecture (Design, Conception, Architecture) to help the presales to win new projects
- Once it is won, the engineers will begin the BUILD of platform and start deploying it
- DevOPs automation will be in place to improve the clients the daily of the team
The client is looking for someone with an Admin Systems background (specifically not a developer)
Someone with a systems background and security background is desired.

- AWS
French will be the main language spoken in the office.
