MongoDB Engineer - Inside ir35
3 month contract (fully remote)
Rate is Neg, depending on experience
This is a fantastic opportunity to work a large-scale project with an instantly recognised consulting firm. You will be responsible for aligning client, developer, and data requirements; delivering NoSQL schemas that conform to MongoDB best practice. Conversant in performance testing and optimisation, defining higher tier data strategies and agile delivery.
Skills
- Recent experience designing No-SQL/MongoDB schemas
- An understanding of MongoDB design patterns and principles
- Experience monitoring and remediating MongoDB performance issues
- Experience aligning client, developer, and data requirements
- Experience articulating MongoDB/No-SQL concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Mongo Atlas, including cluster management (sizing, scaling and management)
- Comfortable working as part of a small team, taking ownership for assigned themes from requirements analysis through to delivery and optimisation
- Experience of working with Hackolade to define data models
- Understanding of .NET (C#), Object Orientated Programming principles and agile software delivery
It would be advantageous if you had knowledge of the insurance/financial services sector.
